I am very quick indeed None of you can catch me When I use my speed. Sometimes mistaken for another. And many people try The way to tell the difference Is to see me when I cry. What am I?

If one of them ever raced me they would, cause I run like the wind and I'd leave em in my dust...
Vandy P.S Actually, they look like they have tears running down their faces because of the black markings on thier faces.

That is correct Vandy.
The Cheetah is the fastest land animal in the world topping the charts at speeds of up to 120 Km/H. They are quite oftem mistaken for the leopard. The Leopard is bigger, does not have the tearmarks or black stripes by the eyes ans has slighly bigger spots. They make a high pitched cry which is more similar to a bird than a cat. They can only keep up the fast running pace for a short while and often lose their kill to other predators due to the fact that they are too exhausted after the kill to eat right away.
