You would be surprised at what you can find at a "Goodwill", Staples or officemax. There are some great stuff out ther. Now if you are looking for substantial brute protection, look into a music supply store (Guitar center) They have fabulous lined metal boxes with dividers and compartments. I have several, they are the "cat's pajamas".

Look on ebay for an old doctor's bag.

Check Out the photographic supply stores. There are many variations of hard shell camera cases you can get with positionable dividers. They also can double as a close up table.
I sold photo equipment for years. When ever I see a "Specialized Case" it is usually a camera case that has been modified. I did a quick Google search for "Photo Cases" and came up with one for $43.00 Made by DynaTran. This isn't a recomondation it's just an example. Look and choose what fits best for you. There are hundreds out there. Good Luck! Bill

Sorry, I have no idea as to who made this but I'll tell you what I have.
A few years ago I bought a fine, black, leather bag/purse from a vendor at a NJ rest stop for about $15. It's 7 inches wide by 10 inches high w/ shoulder strap and brassy hardware. It has a large, top pocket the same size as the bag. Two pockets, one front and one back, about 2/3's the bag size. A front pocket about half the bag size. All the above have zippers. The last pocket is on front and about 4" high w/ a snap. In this pocket are 2 pockets and a divider to hold a few credit cards (packet tricks and special cards). All pockets are the same width as the bag. It easily holds sponges, a couple of decks, coins and Okito boxes, ITRs and more than enough stuff for any strolling closeup work. I suggest stopping at rest stops and flea market in your search. You can usually find some unique stuff. For formal table work I have a brief case. Good Luck |

Don't get a doctor's bag, those are for doctors! do you see doctors running around with pro suitcase tables?
Get a nice looking case. A hard case will protect everything and look good. You can get a nice-looking aluminum case at Home Depot for $20, it looks like a silver briefcase and has pockets inside. There are several kinds of cases on Ebay that look professional and have plenty of room to hold everything you're talking about. Camera Shops also have a great variety of hard cases, everything from aluminum briefcases to Pelican cases guaranteed to protect everything! Good luck! |

AHH!!
Not a big fan of Pelican Cases for a Magic Grip. I own several and tried. You can't beat them for photo equipment storage but, they are heavy and bulky. They are NOT really geared towards a magicians case. They are great for storage and transport for single expensive illusionetts. I think a Doctor's Bag as well as the "Home Depot Cases" will work just fine. If you are talented it won't matter where you store your magic. Bill
