I was wondering, how would you go about becoming a close-up entertainer on a cruise ship? Does anyone know of any websites I could possibly go to with regards to employment on criuse ships, or what else can I do to get my name out there?

Hi Bento
I'm assuming you have "the goods" to do the work, but if you don't, there is a lot of info out there. And a lot of work is available. The cruise ship market is booming! Having worked many cruise ships over the years, I can tell you a really good information source is Jim Coston's information site at http://www.jcoston.bizland.com/workshop.htm Follow the link to Cruise Ship Information. There are also two articles on working Cruise Ships in the MagicCoach archive collection "MC100" available via http://www.magiccoach.com (By the way, there is a special price for the book for the month of October.) Subscribers to our newsletters got a "heads up" about a cruise ship job on offer just a few weeks ago, and I'm happy to say a subscriber of MagicCoach got the job, a 3-6 month contract on a very good ship! Good luck with your adventure Timothy Hyde Publisher MagicCoach "Dedicated to growing your Entertainment Business" http://www.magiccoach.com |

The definative work for cruise ship performers is by Fred Becker. I highly recommend it.
