Hey I found a study guide in another forum- if anyone wants it I can post it here- it doesn't give away any technique or tricks in the study guide- they tell you what should have been mastered before going on to the next chapter/section.

Greetings and Salutations,

I suspect you found Opie H's study guide. It's a good one. Post it up.

My apologies, I don't know how to make a link, but is this what you were talking about?

It's posted on the Magic and Illusion forum in a group called "Magic Tips". The thread is Hugard & Braue, Royal Road to Card Magic.

It is a very good guide which takes you to the relevant parts of the text. It doesn't follow chapter by chapter but more picks out the basic stuff you need.

Try it out.

Also there have been many other posts about this on the Café. Do a search.

Greetings and Salutations,

I don't know if I did this right. If I didn't, just go to about.com and surf until you get to magic, then find the thread. It's popular and stays pretty close to the top.

Good luck!

It's there. I follow the link above.

You need to scroll down the topic section on the left and you'll see it there.

Here's a link directly to the start of the RRTCM thread . . . the most annoying thing about About.com forums is that they have no thread view. You'll have to page through it a post at a time . . .

Opie's RRTCM Study Guide on About.com

Incidentally, RayBanks right here among us has permission to distribute it to interested parties (where I got it). Check the "New to Magic" card skills thread (link).

Cheers!

If you hit the "Print" view you can see the whole thread and either print it or copy and paste it.
