I am NOT an icon on this or any other forum. I am just a guy that likes and does magic.
I got a set of these cups and it was a gift. Then I got excited about them and put video of these cups in action at my web site. Putting the moves on my web site lets other magicians enjoy new routine ideas - and copyrights them for me as a way of publishing and taking credit for things I work on and play around with in magic. At the time I got these cups and put video up I had no idea that others made other micro or mini sets of cups and balls. And that is good because it gives magicians a choice in where to shop and different selections in cup products. Now for the subject of stealing... It's wrong. People justify it in many ways and make excuses for it but it is wrong. What I have done is get a set of cups as a gift and then published video... Someone asked about these cups and I gave them an open and honest answer about the product and provided as much info as I can. My web site and blog have no links to any manufacturer or magic business. If any magician has a problem with any magic business that THEY do business with I suggest that you try to settle it in a friendly way. If the business does not settle it to your satisfaction I suggest that you take your business somewhere else. I shall close now or I will get on a soapbox on the subject of freedom of speech!

If others have a problem with my video's or the props I use I suggest that it is THEIR problem...
This set has a chop cup feature. I have not tried to use a special pea that would work with the chop feature because I choose a sponge pea. But the chop feature may work with these cups in a shell game routine if a special pea was used. I hope this helps. I have one or two more new ideas soft pea ideas that I will be putting on video as this routine and the new moves become part of my everyday routine with these cups. I will be putting up some new video on this routine with these cups very soon. One of the neat things about these cups is the weight. Using a small sponge ball the ball can roll. So this has a feature that you can really mix the cups with the ball or pea inside the cups if you use a light touch. Something that the performer can't do with other sets of shell game. I also like the weight because it helps when the cup three cups are already loaded and then you cover the pea with the cups. The weight squishes the sponge pea down. This set is not a really pretty set with the fine finish. But they are a more rough workers set. And work well for the thimble rig ideas I have been using them for. Here are some links that you might enjoy all talking about the shell game. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=37 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=37 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=41 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=110 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115
