Professional Card to Wallet
USA: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=768 – 50$ UK: http://www.penguinmagic.com/europe/product.php?ID=768 - 28£ The effect: A card is selected, signed by a spectator, and lost in the deck. The performer then removes his wallet; he opens it, and points towards a zipper compartment. Inside this compartment the spectator finds a folded card – his selection. What you get: A hip-pocket wallet made of artificial leather with a snap closure and five pages of detailed instructions. On another page is the instruction for the "Mercury Card Fold". The wallet looks perfectly like an everyday wallet – even better than the Mirage Wallet. You will find 9 compartments for credit cards, one with a window for an ID Card, and one for banknotes. Only a compartment for coins is missing. The specially prepared zipper compartment is on the right side. The performer should be able to control a card, and must be able to accomplish the Mercury Fold. Value for money: What should I say – this is in my eyes the best no-palming card-to-wallet effect (if you don’t mind that the signed card has to be folded), because the result, a signed card is found in the wallet of the performer, is created in the most simple way. No strange handling, so suspicious wallet, everything looks absolutely clean. Ok, the wallet cannot be examined (although I could imagine that if the performer is careful he can have the spectator have a look at it), but there is no need for that because the wallet doesn't look suspicious at all. And yes, everybody must decide whether he likes the idea that the card has to be folded (this is necessary to accomplish the effect). I like especially that no gimmick is involved, which makes the effect perfect for the close-up performer. And because the effect is done with a folded card, the deck never comes into contact with the wallet (see for example: Instant Pro, Mirage Wallet, Switchback Wallet). Altogether I give it a 9. This is an everyday wallet (you might even want to use it as you daily wallet), there is no contact between the deck and the wallet, and the spectator can remove the card from the zipper compartment by himself, no strange handling, no hussle. A little weakness: the card is found folded. But hey, perfection is hard to find…… Magixx

I have two more two come, one about "Instant Pro", and one about "Members only", so watch out for them (well, there is a problem with "Instant Pro", so it may take a while to finish it).
