Spring time in Wisconsin and this young mans fancy has turned to thoughts of golf. I'm playing Sunday for the first time in 5 months or so and I can't wait!! I just love Wisconsin, a little over a month ago I was ice fishing and this weekend golf.
Got the Hogans all polished up, shoes shined, bag loaded with balls and I'm all set. Goal this year, break 90. I think I can do it. So, where are my fellow golfers? How have you been hitting em? Vandy P.S. Weather is wreaking havoc on the Masters, hopefully it will clear up so that when I'm not playing this weekend I can watch the greatest golf "tooniment" in the world.

My golf bag has just received some major damage. I always seem to forget that golf is supposed to be relaxing :Z

I played golf once....
it is not likely to happen again... I got someone realy mad. I made the putt by lying down and using the club for a pool cue. I was told that it is not illeagal to do that.

I am just about the biggest golf fan you will find. I go to college in San Diego, so it's golf weather year round here...no waiting for "golf season" . I've been playing at Torrey Pines...you may have heard of it. It is the course where they play the Buick Invitational every year in February. They really toughened the South Course up because it is hosting the U.S. Open in 2008. I usually play on the North when I want to have fun, and the South when I want to torture myself .
Anyway, I am shooting in the low 80's now, sometimes in the 70's if it's a really good day. I hope the Master's will get by with all this rain, and LET'S GO PHIL! He is on a hot streak, and I hope he is in contention at the end so he can defend. Have fun getting back out on the links Vandy, and I hope you break 90 like you want to. |
