Once every year they forced him, sobbing and protesting, into Endless Night. During the journey he would stand near every child in the world, leave one of the dwarves’ invisible gifts by the bedside. The children slept, frozen in time. He envied Prometheus, and Loki, Sisyphus and Judas. His punishment was harsher. Ho. Ho. Ho.  |

Cool. I've been a fan ever since Sandman and I've never been able to stop ever since. I still can't believe how many people don't know that "Books of Magic" came out long before Harry Potter. I still get into arguments with people.

I was at a Neil Gaiman reading earlier this week, on Wednesday in Montreal. About 800+ people in the theater. It's not like I am a big fan of his, but I read and liked American Gods and a friend of mine in Montreal (whom I was visiting) was eager to go.
Just saying. And it is always cool to bump a decade old dead thread.
