Have any of you ever written a silly little rhyme, either to go with your magic, or not? I do it all the time. Here is one I wrote for my daughter when she was 3 years old. (she is five now and still loves it at the appropriate time)

I sneezed a mighty sneeze,
A mighty sneeze I snoze,
and when I sneezed my mighty sneeze,
I loudly blew my nose.

Anybody else got one to share?
Magic is like Science,
Both are fun if you do it right!

I don't think this one is stupid, but is certainly is silly.

The Octopus - by Ogden Nash

Oh tell me octopus I begs
is those things arms or is they legs?
I marvel at thee octopus.
If I were thou, I'd call me us.

If this isn't exactly accurate I apologize. I wrote it from memory.

Here's my favorite silly poem, by the master of them - Shel Silverstein:

I made myself a snowball,
as perfect as could be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet
and let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas
and a pillow for its head.
Then last night it ran away
But first - it wet the bed!

The thunder roared!
The lightning flashed!
The tree fell down!
The frog got smashed.

Ogden Nash is the greatest!

God in his wisdom made the fly
And then forgot to tell us why.

I had a little chicken and he wouldn't lay an egg
So I poured hot water up and down its leg
The little chicken vried and the little chicken begged
And the little chicken laid a hard boiled egg

I heard this on the movie THE LIFE OF DAVID GALE (great movie by the way)

There once was a lesbian from cancun
Who took a young man to her room
They stayed up all night
And had a big fight
About who should do what
And to whom

Here's one from my college roommate.

There once was a coach for IU
In losses, he had quite a few
He never had fear
Saying "Wait til next year"
But his saying would never come true

My roommate's a big IU fan, but wishes he could vanish coach Mike David in a thumbtip.
