One of my friends who is also a magician is getting married soon to his girlfriend. He wants to propose to her by doing the floating rose illusion, (one of the greatest illusion in my opinion). He wants to produce the rose but instead of it being a real rose he wants it to be a jewerly case that is in a shape of the rose so he can then get on one knee open the rose and propose to his girlfriend. He asked me if I knew where I could get this special case but I have no idea. Does anyone here know where you can get something like it?

I've never seen a jewelry case that looks like a rose, however I've seen artificial roses which have a special place for a ring inside the flower-I've seen some magcian do that somewhere. However I feel it'd much stronger if it were a real rose and the ring on it.
Something that's close could be "Ring on the Rose", sold by Hocus Pocus.

I had one till it broke. I am trying to figure out where I got it from. I am searching around looking for one. But the only thing is that you should be concerded about is the weight on the thread. May break the string. I will let you know if I come up with anything.

In one of Copperfield's older specials he did a ring effect where a borrowed ring vanished and then he produced a rose, the rose bloomed open revealing the ring in the center of the bud.
