Hello All,

I have a problem that hopefully my fellow builders can assist with.

Does anyone know how to dissolve epoxy after it's hardened? I think I remember something about some solution that did this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nathan

Nathan,

The good news is that you are right! It can be done.

The bad news is that neither Lucy nor I can remember at the moment what you use. I'll try to get back to you Thursday.

Thanks Bob,

So far I have come up with something called "Attack Epoxy and Polyester Resin Glue Dissolving Compound" and a chemical called Methylen Chloride but I understand that's nasty stuff and the " Attack Compound " is safer.

Any of those what you were thinking of ?

Nathan,

Of the three, the one I know is Polyester Resin Glue Dissolving Compound. It works but keep it away from anything of value! Think of it as increasing and moving the glue to a new location.

Good Luck!
