I did a quick search, and was amazed to find no prior reference to the acclaimed "Scott e-Vest", actually a line of outdoor wear designed for techies and gadget freaks.
The line has now expanded to include pants and a sports jacket.
In a nutshell, what's so special about these clothes is that they can contain up to 30 or more hidden pockets inside, and yet look like absolutely normal clothing. Even more important than the number of pockets is the nature of the pockets - they've been designed to reduce bulging almost entirely, and come in many different sizes; nearly all pockets have zippers, some pockets are inside other pockets still, and there are small channels throughout the jacket lining, linking the pockets in a PAN, or Personal Area Network, which is very handy for iPod lovers, among others. There's so much cool stuff I can't list it all here. Sorry for sounding like an ad, but these things are just too cool, IMO.

If nothing else, these just sound great for carrying around all the extra props and gimmicks I like to have with me all the time, like a thumbtip, my Xpert, my Super Sharpie, my gaffed coins, cards, D'Lites, etc... without needing an extra jacket or bag of some sort - expecially now that the warmer weather is settling in, I won't have my coat to stuff all this gear in, but the pants or shorts will fit the bill.

They are on sale right now, but their sizes are pretty limited - I wound up having to get the stone colored pair to get my size (34/34), although they have 'em in green too. The other color is black.

The item that might interest most of you, however, is the new blazer/sports jacket, available only in classic navy blue. It's got a whopping 14 hidden pockets in it. Those of you familiar with the magician's vest which has 75 pockets may be thinking, big deal, but try filling all 75 of those pockets and see if you don't wind up looking like the Michelin Man !! Believe me, this is better, much better.

Warning, the clothes are not cheap. But then again, they're a lot cheaper than some of the lame effects I've seen selling for hundreds or thousands of dollars !
