I have always used bikes. I guesse that is because the only other card company blows around where I live. How do they compare to other cards.

Bees all the way. I do gambling demonstrations and crooked dealing with them. Bikes for my normal card tricks.

I think this should be the last ever post to this question. What ever cards you use, as long as they are workable, are good. There are no best cards. In every forum, I see this topic millions of times. Phew.

Best cards?
In the poker world, 100% plastic cards are used more often than paper cards because they are much more durable and long-lasting. (KEM, Gemaco, COPAG, etc.) These cards can be perfect for practicing abusive card sleights. In the magicians world, paper cards are probably tradition. I suggest to test them all. Bicycle, Tally-Ho's, Bee, Hoyle, Texan Palmettos, Gemaco, KEM, Fournier, COPAG etc. By the way, Kardwell.com stocks the old and beautiful Texan playing cards again: http://www.kardwell.com/texan-playing-cards.htm However, I do prefer 100% plastic cards over paper cards, because they cost less in the long run. If you practise a lot with cards, paper cards can wear-out pretty quick, that's why I use 100% plastic cards for practise. I prefer Gemaco Compass, because the have a good feel. All the best! |
