Flamenco has been out for a while in spanish, but have not yet been translated to english.
Hermetic Press will probably do the translation.

From what I heard in Genii's interview from Matt Field (good one, BTW), Flamenco is finished so it should be released soon.
But with Juan, that can take some time...

In the Genii Interview they were talking about "the magic rainbow" being finished, not about "Flamenco".

Any news of this book? I am very interested in learning 'Exactly The Same With A Difference' contained within.

Does anyone know if Juan has released this piece elsewhere? Its such a special routine.

To clarify, Flamenco and The Magic Rainbow are indeed two different books.

The Magic Rainbow was published in Spanish in 2016. This is Juan's crowning work of theory. It is also 600+ pages. Rafael Benatar is working on the english translation for Hermetic Press, but that will take some time. I would expect to wait a few years.

Flamenco is a book of Tamariz' effects being written by Stephen Minch. As such, my understanding is that it would be published first in English. It is unfinished and may or may not be in active development.

Hermetic Press has published these by Tamariz:

Mnemonica
The Five Points of Magic
Verbal Magic
The Magic Way

A revised version of Sonata, previously published in english by Editorial Frakson like Five Points and The Magic Way, has long been mentioned as a Hermetic Press project as well.

Again, I think most of us have a lot to read before waiting for those books impatiently.

While magicians are certainly not known for their patience, criticizing this particular thread as an example of impatience seems off target, given that it has spanned 12 years with only 16 posts on it.

Tim,
I've no target in my visor, it is a general consideration. There is a lot of threads on Spanish books not translated yet, for which the magic community is waiting for a very long time. And many of us, including me, have still not studied all the already translated ones.

Magic Rainbow should be translated by the end of the year or earlier. Then there is a process that might take another year or so.

That is fantastic.

Thank you for your translations, Rafael!
