Just recieved this today. I have not tryed it yet but I will say a couple things.
One This could be the poor mans Midas or Leyser 2020. I'm sure it does'nt have the power of either of those two but... It is roughly the size of a lipstick. And You can gaff or use other items for the effect. Gotta run I'll post more later. |

Myster,
But, I'm really looking forward to your review. While a low-tech version, does it play similar to Leyser 2020 (I know I'm asking too much) |

You can hold your wrist an inch or so above their fist. The act of reaching to hold their wrist or waving your hand over the top of theirs will tell you what you need.
I believe the object they hold can be even easier detected if it is altered a bit. Can't say more than that except when you get this you'll see that other items can be used. You could also use the device to find a coin in an envelope or maybe even a mini deathtrap useing little paper dixie cups. Unlike Midas or Leyser, you must supply the object to be found. Rick The device is easily held in place by a regular style wristband. |

From your description it sounds like The Buddha by Vallerino.

So Myster, do you think Child's Play is:
Dependable? Well Hidden? Accurate? A Keeper? Thanks, Aaron! |

I will post a review once I get it. Should be early next week. From what I heard it is electronic.

I recommend the Leyser device above all others.

Ooooh. I am slightly intrigued.
I have the original 'Eye to Eye' but size-wise the gimmicks don't hide themselves. Bigger is better, as they say. The Leyser 2020 looks clever but £179.99 is a lot of money. Awaiting more reviews. |

Leyser is excellent. You can use a borrowed coin, ring or any reasonably sized metalic object.
I recommend it! |

Dammit... Stop tempting me... I can't resist.
Must buy Leyser. Must buy Leyser. Must buy Leyser. |

Is anyone else who's got Child's Play (or Leyser 2020) willing to give it a review? Thanks!

I've played around with Child's Play (I got two - I always get two of the same when the workings are electronic) and I must say I like it a lot. I haven't seen or played with leyser or midas but child's play does work very well for this plot. You don't have the leisure of using any metallic object but the system allows you a lot of range in what you would like to use. It is very small, fits on your wrist under a wristband and looks durable and reliable. No one will see any bulge at all in your sleeves. It is lightweight too. The device can read objects from a fair distance (I would say between an inch to 3 or 4 inches) depneding on where you take the reading. In a performing environment no one will hear any noise from it either. I think at $65 it is a steal. Recommended.

Do you feel anything with this device? Or does it give a visual or audible signal?

Made my own "rhune" stone for the effect and it's great! The stone can be detected from a good two inches away in a tightly closed fist PALM DOWN. With the palm up 3 to 4 inches away.
Cost of the "stone" $8.00 |
