I was wondering if there are tricks that work better for guys than on girl. Or tricks that are better to preform for girls than guys? Do card or coin tricks work the same for both? Or is one stronger to a certain gender? Do mentalism tricks work better for girls than guys or vis versa?

The tricks are tied to your performing persona. So nobody can answer your question, but your own experience.

With the time you will be able to tell, which tricks are enjoyed by women and which onse are enjoyed by men. Usually women like all kindda of effects if not they just play along with it , men will somehow show a boring face if they not attracted to something you do. don't worry about that though, that is how it is.

Roland Henning is pretty accurate in his post: It's a matter of trial and error on each person's part.
However, women are USUALLY less interested in card tricks than men, which is why most table hoppers don't restrict themselves to cards.

I think using tricks to propose or ask a girl out is bad form and a little cheesy. Wit, charm, sweetness and a sense of humour work, just don't add cards, flourishes or god forbid, the saw a woman in half cabinet. Smile

Don't assume that women do not like card tricks or that men don't want sponge bunnies. Its quite a shock sometimes to see what thet do like.
Try out the tricks, and
Don't prejudge !!
