"Where do my powers come from?" Corinda, Annemann, Nelson.
Ok, actually I got them from my mother and her mother. Both of them had dreams that would come true. And, no, they didn't tell me about them after the event had happened. My mother had a dream about a white van that was stopped on the side of the road with some kind of problem. She told me to be careful driving that day, because I drove a white delivery van for a florist. At the end of the day, I told her that nothing had happened all day, and I felt sorta smug about it. That night my brother came over and talked about the problems he's had that day. He was helping a friend move and the friend's van had broken down. The van was white. Tate |

"There are members of my family that say that my great aunt could do some of this too. I didn't know her. She died just before I was born."
"I spent some time alone in the bush when I was younger. I wanted to clear my head and focus my energies. It is amazing what happens when you do something like that." "Well, you know of stories that people tell of going up to a locked door and turning the handle and it opened. (Getting goose bumps when I say it) That happened to me once when I was a kid. After that, you just start noticing things." "The mind is truly amazing. I guess as I grew older, I just became more self aware. I guess we all do. Anyway I realized that there were things that I wasn't focusing enough on." "Some people say that learning is opening gateways. It seems that my efforts to understand things... helped me to develop these skills." "When I was 7, my cat scratched me. It took a long time for it to heal. It was about then that I began to understand that I could do some of these things." "That's a good question. I guess all of life is a learning curve. It will be interesting to see where this progresses." "It came to me during a fog storm in the Alps when my iguana overheated. I was standing there trying to wave down passing cruise missiles when a chain smoking kangaroo somersaulted by looking for a lightening bolt that he had misplaced. I swallowed a couple of tarantulas and suddenly it came to me. A brilliant light flashed between my two front teeth and I had this revelation... God is Velcro." Cheers - El Lamo But I have been working on the "alien abducted" concept.
Life is a system of circumstance presented coincidently in an illusory way.

Rocketing to Earth as a young infant from the distant planet Krypton....no, I sort of ala Kreskin state that what I do is for entertainment and not to foster belief in paranormal, etc. (Not that it helps, in every audience there is someone who is convinced I can read minds, contact the dead, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Where did your "powers" come from? That is a good question PsychoMagi.
Although I believe in the "Scientific Method," I realized that it is POSSIBLE for humans to have ESP (Extrasensory Perception) and/or other physic powers. ESP (Extrasensory Perception) has NOT been scientifically proven yet but it is possible that humans COULD have supernatural powers. I don't have any real “powers” that I am aware of, so my answer to you would be very similar to Tate’s answer. I get my “powers” from: Henry Hay Harlan Tarbell Tony Corinda Theo Annemann Barrie Richardson Ted Lesley John Northern Hilliard Bascom Jones William W. Larsen, Sr. Bill Larsen Jr. David Hoy George B. Anderson Banachek (Steve Shaw) T.A. Waters Larry Becker Al Koran J.G. Thompson Richard Osterlind Luke Jermay Max Maven (Phil Goldsteinl) Kenton Knepper Robert Cassidy Martin Gardner Max Abrams Ken Weber Richard Busch Al Baker Eugene Burger John Carney Ian Rowland Roberto Giobbi Paul Harris JamesStuart Harry Lorayne David Regal John Riggs Stephen Minch From the members of the Magic Café And many, many others... I got my powers from the same place Uri Geller got his from. In a small park in Israel.

At first, messing around, I was trying to get away with, "Ahh, it's just another way to play the game," but that doesn't really satisfy some of the more intrusive questions people ask.
So the current bullsh*t is, "Ever look into the mirror and close your eyes just to see how it feels? Yeah... it's really just a matter of thinking about everyday things in a slightly different manner." Usually that's enough of a misdirection, and I'll come next with "What's the first dream you remember remembering?" In groups of 3 or more, that seems to work me smoothly away from anything I don't want to get into. So far at least...won't be able to skirt the issue forever, and they'll eventually want more. Haven't crossed that bridge yet though.
The thing about doing the impossible is that you've got no competition.
