Additional to the very good drawing dupes mentoined by paradise I can recommend Banacheks DVD series where he has dupes for close up and stage.
I use all of them depending on the situation. The thought transmitter is a nice prop but has its drawbacks in certain circumstances . If you want to use a wallet I can recommend stealth wallet by peter nardi. Especially in close up situations it works very well, looks quite like an ordinary wallet and is small. But again I'd recommend using some of the drawing dupes with business cards as the ones mentioned in this thread. Thomas |

There's also the Osterlind Design Duplication System (ODDS). It definitely fits all your criteria.

Abolutely right Josh,
Forgot to mention this in the hurry I am at the moment. THough its indeet one of the best drawing dupes. You can buy it from Richards Website (with the cards included) or read it in Richards wonderful ebook 'Essays' which I would recommend because aside from ODDS you'll find priceless tips and information on mentalism which can improve your performance and appearance a lot. I am not one to plug. In my mind if someoen wants to buy my book then they will, otherwise they wont and that is fine with me. I must say that I have a drawing Duplication in my book for close up. It allows you to get a peek at the full card on which they draw. So as oppose to having the spectator limited to drawing on only part of a busines scard they can use the whole space.
Other emthods I love are Richard's ODDS (i reccomend his e-book ESSAYS), it is pure brilliance, and of course Banachek's close up image duplication is wonderful too, find this on his Psi Series. I hope this is of some help Best, Kennedy

Perhaps not ideal as you said it must be fast but if you have a few people then you could probably do Sneak Thief with business cards. Although this is a psychometry/graphology routine on the whole, there is a devastating design dupe at the end.

Kuff's Bold Business is good and the best for impromptu close up but needs the mastery of a little move plus the drawing cannot be retained by the spectator. The Janus Pad is very good and so is the Stealth wallet.

Virtually any mentalism piece could be framed as a drawing dup.
Even Cassidy's Name/Place effect would work well if framed that way. Tom |

I'm thinking about getting the stealth wallet, any pros cons I should know about? Thanks for your help!

As I mentioned above the stealth wallet is a good prop for drawing dupes. Though I like dupes with normal business cards and no props (like Kuffs') I do use stealth regularly.
It's size is small and it looks quite normal. The way you can get the peek is very casual. Its a nice wallet to carry your business cards around and so you are all set to start your drawing dupe routine. In the booklet you are supplied with some good routines and ideas. Even if you perform surrounded its no problem since there are ideas and handlings you can use even in such situations. That's about the pros so far. Well, no real big con come up to my mind at the moment. Whenever I used it it worked well. So I can recommend it to you. Greetings Thomas |

How about doing a centre tear for a drawing dup? 3X5 cards are cheap, and can be cut down to either half size or to businsness size.
