I keep seeing people refer to Eugene Burger's equivoque process, but I can't seem to find where it's published. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Every problem contains the seeds of its own solution. Unfortunately every problem also contains the seeds of an infinite number of non-solutions, so that first part really isn't super helpful.

I am not sure that he has published it, It was something he covered at last year's Bizarre Weekend in Las Vegas- a weekend of classes. I imagine if you contact him you can get a lesson or two

An example of his equivoque is in The Experience Of Magic,
the effect is The Devils Deck.

I also recommend looking at Christian Chelman's approach
in Capricornian Tales. A lovely effect with 5 different coins.

He also has released a small parchment on equivoque. I believe these were only available at select lectures

Thanks. If anyone has contact info for him (other than "check Max Maven's living room"), please PM me. I tried emailing him through his web site, but it bounced.

This originally was an item exclusive to Burger's lectures, but if you take a look at the book, "Mystery School", on page 313 an item called "Accentuate the Positive", there is a very similar right up of Burger's use of the magician's choice.

And Gene Grant's (Phantini) work on it.
For me it has made wonders...

Lets not forget Berglas. And, yes, Phantini definitely is worth checking out.

Despite mixed reviews, I just ordered Verbal Control. For five bucks, how can you go wrong.

Alain Nu has some good ideas in Mind Over Matter as well.

The one source that really disappointed me was Maximum Mind Control, on many levels. Sorry David.

Jack Dean has book called "Equivoque Choice". Has anyone seen it?

Thanks all, for the contact info and further suggestions... yet more titles to add to the wish list...

Juan D and/or Bill Cushman, which Phantini title(s) are you referring to?

Sardini, I have Dean's Equivoque Choice. It had some useful info, but personally I didn't find it to be as great as I'd been lead to expect. Probably the most interesting part was his discussion of Maven's Verbal Control (which might well have been titled "Where Max Went Wrong").

Speaking of Docc, has anyone read his new E'voque yet?

Yes, it's great. I'm not just saying that because I'm credited in the manuscript. (smile)

I have Phantini Revisited but I believe the first "visit" also has some info as well.

I have it but haven't read it, yet. It's #1 in a series of 17 booklets. These are effects that are 100% impromptu and require no gimmicks. This should be an intereseting series.

I had Eugene come to Nashville a couple of years ago to do a lecture and, in his evening session, he did a ton of stuff on Equivoque. If I'm remembering correctly, he said that most of his thoughts came from Maven and even then it was most likely Max's book on Equivoque that he wrote years ago (the name escapes me).

Maven's treatise is Verbal Control. Small, powerful and worth whatever you pay for it. THat shouldn't be very much either.
