I love this DVD very much, most of the effects are very strong. A must have for card magic lover.
There are some effect that is easy and strong, you will perform it regularly, like Quick Coincidence. Advanced effects like Ackerman Opener will blow your mind, it is one of the best effect I've ever seen. Easy to Inter effects: Marlo's Double Brainwave Update, Quick Coincidence, Mixed-Up Blues, The Spectator Cuts Double, Gemini Mates, Change of Mind, Advanced effects: 76 Collectors, Impromptu Ultra Mental, Ackerman's Opener, Impromptu Paul Fox, The Vanishing Aces, Small Packet All-Backs, Revisiting the Card Case Collectors.

I have posted a detailed review of the referenced DVD at the website "mylovelyassistant.com" as I am a big allan ackerman fan and think his card work is top shelf. Cheers, Kenno.

I liked the VHS version alot. The only problem I found was that Revisiting the Card Case Collectors was not on my tape even though it was advertised on the box. Don't know what happened.

YES, in the book: Las Vegas Kardma by Allan Ackerman.
A-1 MultiMedia, 1994 (Hardcover), 176 pages: http://www.ronjo.com/Merchant2/merchant.......ode=demo Page 92: Impromptu Paul Fox: I think this is the strongest routine on this DVD. Four spectators gets a packet of cards and remember one card and mixes the cards up. All packets is mixed up together. The magician finds all cards with almost real magic. The routine is very streamlined, no gaffs, no sneaky question, nothing strange just a very direct approach to a minor miracle. You must have mastered Perfect faro Shuffle to do this routine flawless. I recommend this routine very much. This is not an routine you do on the street but on a formal setting it will work excellent. http://www.allanackerman.com http://www.allanackerman.net |

Andrew Wimhurst has an improvement on Ackerman's version of the Impromptu Paul Fox. It makes it so you don't have to fish at all. It's pretty clever.

In the ackerman book there is a routine called THE THREE CARD LOCATION,by Steve Ehlers which was inspired by the ackermaqn effect and is my favorite routine in this wonderful book.

I have this DVD and really enjoy it- but during the segment of Ackerman Varies Kelly there is a big jump/edit in the track and a critical part of the demonstration is missing. Can anyone verify for me if I got a bad DVD or is this just a bad edit from the original production? Thanks for any help offered,
Alan |

Now in only one combo dvd, you have the 2 classic videos from A1multimedia. I had the tapes, and buy again the dvd, is one of my favorites. The plots are basically from The Las Vegas kardma, great book, and some of Here's my card (sometimes you can find the booklet on ebay or some libraries of used books). Mr. Ackerman is a good teacher, and there's very good tricks and techniques inside (like new convincing control, for exemple).
Best is yet to come ¡¡¡
