* picks up a shot glass from the table and swirls it around *
You know vlahd and many other kings of old thought that drinking someones blood would bestow a power upon them. Queen of the Scotts- Merry, would bathe in virgins blood because she thought it caused eturnal youth. Can you believe that? *takes a small sip from the blood filled glass* *pause a beat* I do. *slam your hand down onto the glass* Well that is my first attempt. Inspired by Mystician. Tell me what you think, manipulate it, use it, but do leave feed back. I don't mind unkind replys as long as they are costructive. Your friend, ~Mayo

Mayo,
I appreciate the imagery that you are trying to create here. The problem, in my mind, is that there is no reason for the shot glass to disappear. What does it symbolize? But perhaps with just a little tweaking you can have something stronger. For example, just off the top of my head, what about something like this… Vlad Dracul, like other kings of old, believed that drinking someone’s blood would bestow power upon them. Mary Queen of Scotts would bathe in virgin’s blood because she thought it would give her eternal youth. *Take small sip. Contemplate contents of glass* Blood, the essense of life. But you should always remember that life is fleeting. *As you slam down onto glass* I am sure that there are many ways to go with this, but the disappearance should be in the context of your story. I don’t mean to be too critical. Please continue posting your ideas. You can learn a lot from the posters here, but we can learn from you as well. Dave |
