This is sad, sad news. I've known Jay for as long as I've been going to the Abbotts Magic get together. I've always looked to him as my biggest idol in magic. Because of him my goal is to someday be able to earn the kind of respect he has. I don't know if I'll ever get there but it's not a bad goal to have. I for one am very saddened by his passing and he'll be missed greatly. The abbotts get together (And all other magic gatherings) just won't be the same without him there.

After regaining my ability to hear after 20 years of deafness. I learned that there is magic all around you. The simplest sounds that amazed me you probably ignore. Look and listen around you right now. You'll find something you didn't notice before.

Reading Jay's well honed lines brought back so many memories.

I just hope that people realize that these lines are not up for grabs. They remain Jay's.

P.S. Jay used tell Marie Marshall he was Horace's Illegimate son. Horace laughed but Marie didn't think it was too funny.

One sad memory to note is that in some of the greater magic conventions, there will be a lack of one standing ovation.
That standing ovation was currently for whenever he and his "friend" performed. There will be no more standing ovations for the beloved ventriloquist and wonderful man.
Ephes. 2:8-9

For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.
