Does anyone have any biographical information on an English mentalist called Stanton Carlisle, one time friend and associate of Tony Corinda? Smile

Stanton was a true gentleman. Unfortunately he became confined to a wheelchair which put an end to his professional engagements. He spoke much as he wrote, somewhat verbose but interesting and intelligent.

He also had some brillaint ideas in mentalism. His book on muscle reading is exceptionally good as are his other mentalism books. Full of very practical thinking. His Q & A method for stealing billets is exceptional.

I corresponded with Stanton, late in his life. I'm not sure if his books are still available, but if you can get them, get them!

Stanton's books published by Supreme Magic are available from Magic Books by Post of England.

They also stock most of the Supreme titles that are unavailable anywhere else. Their catalog is available online and you can print it out.

I've seen quite a few of Stanton's Supreme publications but I am really more interested in Stanton's life post 1960.
Thanks for the references folks but my real curiosity is about 'Stanton, the man himself' and his career! Smile

Hello Wallace,
you will read about Stanton in due time. I do my best, but I am in the moment involved with two TV shows here in Germany.
