Durhamkid, what amazes me is the way audiences make stuff up immediately afterwards, exagerating the effects. "I swear he didn't even get them to write it down - they just thought it!).

You are right. There's great potential for a whole psychological study focused on a Derren Brown audience. Hysteria, delusional behaviour and what Kreskin calls the "Faith Prestige" phenomenon would be key aspects of this. They are being controlled but not in the manner they think. He did actually fly over the audience in Manchester you know ! Harry H - it's a scary place I know. It's what unifies them in their common devotion to Mr Brown that is the most frightening.
