Quique,
Thanks for the post. My view on this is even if it is a bit awkward or slightly discomforting for me...I will not be bothered. IF this was the case, I would place this effect in the "NO PAIN, NO GAIN" category, take my aches and be happy with the response as I really think it is that powerful of a routine. I can recall MANY effects that were not that comfortable...OK, it was for the LADIES in my show. Cramming them in boxes, unrealistic expectations of speed and jumping in and out, bumpin n bruising! Come on guys..we are the MEN here. let's not let the ladies who take the real beating start calling us sissies I think this will be an effect in which some have problems ( maybe ) and some don't. It is always a tough situation to be in as a manufacturer. Quique,I wish you luck with this effect and hope all goes well as I think it looks fantastic! Chance Wolf Wolf's Magic

But one of the above posters had indicated that it went much farther than that just a few simple gymnastics., specifically twisting your wrist into near impossible positions. That is what worried me. I'm not a contortionist, and if I can't achieve the positions required, then I will have wasted my money. Believe me, I spent many years of my life studying classical guitar, and I practiced day and night to achieve the hand positions and dificult chords that my mentors performed so easily, but for all my years of grinding effort and sweat, certain chord shapes STILL remained impossible for me. So my point is that hard work is NOT the solution to every physical challenge. Some folks have the ability to do certain things, and others, no matter how much work can never achieve the same things. It's all a matter of given abilities. I would be devastated to spend the asked amount on the effect, and then find that after weeks or months of work that I still can't twist my wrist into the neccesary contortions to perform the effect. Again, as I said earlier, a satisfaction guarantee would be real nice here. Of course I realize it's not going to happen, but it would still be nice.

This effect is not like for example card manipulation where you have to put in hard work and hand exercises to get the moves correct. It is just that it is impossible in its current condition to be able to work smoothly and correctly no matter how fit you are or disjointed your hands are.
Quique I stand by my comments earlier that the effect is good but the mechanism needs to be looked at again . I am from the UK so anyone that is interested in this item and that knows me I will willingly bring it along to one of the meetings of a magic society that I am a member of so that you can physically try it out yourself before you decide to buy it or not. I can't be fairer than that. If I get to work out a better working mechanism for it I will let you all know. All the best Stuart.

I have one right here in front of me ! And NO ! - I didn't pay the $140 !
A little steep for what you get but then again, this will be a great personality showcase for a performer. The gimmick is a bit awkward at first but I can honestly say that I did stand in front of a mirror and work with it a bit...... This might be like the old Fearson Fantastic Levitation - it looked GREAT when Steve did it - he was the one with all the R & D.....

I too liked the description when I saw it a few days ago.
Imagine using this with Sean Bogunia's Impossible Hank Gimmick. Hmmm.....

No one mentioned yet that this month's GENII magazine includes a bonus CD demo of this effect.

The CD has some other material on it as well, some of it explained. I think that the CD is not only a great marketing idea, but useful even if you don't buy anything because of the material that's explained (for example, the silk through glass looked great).

Seems like it could be a great personality piece!
The question mark that entered my mine was the video itself. Why must so many video demos have CUT scenes @ the wrong time! Just when the setup is being done there is a cut in the video! That always raises a flag for me. Also, you only see one full screen view of the performer while performing and it is very short, the balance of the demo is shot tight, just how much moment is apparent? More reviews are needed. Not bashing the effect as I think there is great potential.
Be remembered for performing what looks like MAGIC, not skill.

I just received mine and watched the included video, including the explanation, but haven't had a chance to play with it yet. Based on what I saw, I think it's great, even better than it appears in the WEB video.
A lot of attention to detail has gone into this product, for example, when the tie moves from behind one shoulder to behind the other shoulder, the front of the tie moves appropriately as well. I noticed that it in the WEB video and thought it was something that accidentally and luckily happened on that particular shoot, but it wasn't, it's brilliantly designed that way. One other great aspect of the effect that's not shown in the WEB video is that at the end of the routine, the tie can take a bow. As I mentioned in an earlier posting, the strengths of this particular effect in my opinion are that it's different, I believe that it will be magical to laymen (especially the tie finding the card), and it's very entertaining. Why is it that magicians from Argentina are so darn clever? It must be something in the water. Larry |

I got mine today and I have played with it a little.
I love it! It does require a bit of hand gymnastics to get the feel of it but after some time the moves and movement will become natural. I got a really nice looking grey tie with mine, but down the road I will outfit another tie with it (flea markets sell great cheap ties, and in quantity) The bonus CD is great and has a smattering of other Bazaar effects. I cant wait to get this in front of an audience. S. Patrick |

Does this come with the card attachment or magnets? I also noticed that the gimmick tie connects to the worn tie. Is this also included? Or do you have to figure this out yourself. There are marketed tricks that are not complete as shown.

Does anyone know if the gimmick could be modified to be used in a rope? Thanks in advance.

Lou,
Yes, it comes with the necessary card (actually, you receive two cards, one red-backed and one blue-backed) and the tie that's worn. Larry |

Larry,
Can the tie be easily removed from the tie that is provided and re-inserted into your own tie? Thank you very much for your courtesy. Best regards, Michael
