Can anyone tell me what the performance angles are like for this effect? The demo video was shot strictly from the front, which leads me to beleive that this might have been designed as more of a stage effect. Could you use it in more informal environments, like birthday parties?

Michael, to be able to perform this effect with your own tie you'd need minimal sewing ability, or, if you're lazy like me, you could get a tailor do it.
Kent, you can perform this anywhere that people can't see behind you. |

Larry,
Thank you very much for your sewing suggestions. Who says I'm lazy...besides my wife I mean? Know the name of a good tailor? I was thinking of getting a tie with a snake print on it so I can have a wearable "snake tie basket" effect without the basket. Thank you again. Best regards, Michael

Is, the tie supplied, really shinny? I watched the demo video and the tie did not look like something I would wear.

Michael,
Great idea! At the end of the effect after the applause, you might even as an afterthought quickly "feed" the snake something as a reward--remove from your pocket a fake mouse secretly attached to piece of ela**** and "feed" it to the tie. Done as a throw-away I think it would be humorous. Larry |

Larry,
I like your idea about the mouse but I would be hesistant is using it with a children's audience unless it is done tongue and cheek and with a lot of humor and silliness such as with the "5 minute routine with a hankerchief". You could also use the "snake tie" bit in conjuntion with a snake basket (Kybra Korbra, Dick Barry Snake basket, etc.), the 5 minute hankerchief routine with the mouse and your snake tie eating the mouse puppet bit to make a very long and entertaining routine out of it. Best regards, Michael

Lee,
Thank you for the link. However, I was looking for something a little bit more comical such as a picture of a snake on the tie as opposed to wearing a real snake skin. Michael

The only problem I encounter is sometimes my jacket falls off when I hang it on my shoulder. It only works for me when I wear a light jacket.

Lou, how you tried stick-on Velcro--a small piece stuck to the back of your shirt at the top of the left shoulder area, and the mating piece stuck inside of the right side of the jacket so that the shirt and jacket pieces align?

Larry,
You should have been at the Super Bowl to give Janet Jackson wardrobe advice. Thank you very much for the tip. Michael
