Hi Guys:
Would appreciate if someone could post a review on "Card to Wallet" book by Jerry Mentzer. Would really love to know more about it. Thanks |

It is THE encyclopedia of card to wallet books. It covers 166 pages with nine chapters. The first covers ungimmicked wallets, starting with Hen Fetsch's Wallop Wallet. It then describes special wallets--sho-gun, Berg, Out of Sight, Bob King, etc. One chapter is devoted entirely to the LePaul Wallet, one to the Mullica and another combines the Himber, Brown and Bendix wallets. A chapter entitled "Just in Case" details a concept using a special card and the final word is "Not Quite Card to Wallet" in which the card appears in other places. The art work is very good.
This book is indispenable for card-to-wallet enthusiasts. It was originally published in 1991. Illustrations are by Richard Bartram,Jr. and David Harkey. |

One of the most well written magic books I have had the pleasure of reading. Very easy to read and understand. Great illustrations. Quite comprehensive and should allow you to understand the methodology of most of the wallets out there and make an informed purchase decision.
I really enjoy this book. I wish more specialized magic books were as well written. I traded a video for this book but I don't intend to trade this book. Mike
Magic is a vanishing Art.
This must not be Kansas anymore, Toto. Eschew obfuscation. |
