I recently bought the Flicking Fingers - the Movie dvd and quite liked Stephan Kirschbaum's 'a rose is a rose' routine - basically a TT/silk routine with a coin purse and purse frame that culminates in the production of a rose.
Instead of using a TT, however, he uses a finger tip that fits on his ring finger. Does anyone know where to get a decent one? Malcolm |

You're after a Vernet Sixth Finger, a wonderful little accessory!

Not necessarily. You can get a really nice Vernet FT. They come as part of a set. Vernet issues a set that has a TT a 6th F and a couple of FT's as well.

I bought so many fingertips in all sizes for this effect and none of them fits my ring finger and are able to hold a small silk. I'm now waiting for the next big conference like Blackpool, to go a actually try the fingertips and buy the one that suits perfect. Maybe you have better luck with the standard fingertip sizes than I had. Good luck.
It's a great effect by the way - great effect. You can easily finish it by producing a large silk instead of a rose - if you are doing walk around and don't want to carry a lot of roses. Most medium expensive dinner jackets have a small pocket in the left side where you can hide a large silk. |

It would be nice to be able to try them on to see if they fit before buying! I was hoping to get to Blackpool this year but I now suspect I won't be able to make it down. Let me know how you get on with your hunt, Vraagard.

I love this effect! For me, the fingertips in the Vernet set were either too long or too small. I found two solutions. I have a smaller TT that I couldn't use well on the Thumb. I also have an old D'lite whose gimmick fell out. It fits my ring finger well and holds the load.
