I knew the title would grab ya'! So your'e thinking "What the hell is a kissy lips stamp?" Well, there is an effect called lipstick in which a girl blows a kiss which lands "on your cheek" and eventually ends up on the face of a selected playing card. It is just a "lip print" of a woman's lips, much the same effect you would get if she were to actually kiss the card with red lipstick on. You know, the mark that a guy has on his collar when he comes home late from the office, and his wife finds it and they end uo getting divorced? That's what I'm talking about.
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody has any knowledge of where I can get a STAMP of this kiss print so that I can make up a bunch on playing cards for a prototype of a new effect I have in mind? Thanks!

Try a scrapbooking shop or Hobby Lobby or other craft store in their stamp aisle. They might have something you can use.

Most craft shops or even Wal-Mart has the kiss lips rubber stamp.

Hey Daffy, I used to do this trick about ten years ago. Im pretty sure if you just put on some lipstick and kiss the card it will work great. You will have to let it dry but I don't remember ever having any problems with smearing (if that's what your trying to avoid). I think its in Royal road to Card Magic. Hope that helps. db

It would be just my luck that my wife or kids would come in just when I am at the kissing part of the act! man, I would never live that down for ever! Besides, if I am going to be making up the effect to market, you're talking a LOT of card kissin my friend! Of course, I suppose I always could go in the bathroom and lock the door....

You can get the rubber stamp at Hobby Lobby. I use the large RED Sharpie marker to ink the stamp and then put it on the card. It works fine and drys quickly.

Hey Doug,
That was a link to Camirand Magic who makes the KISS MACHINE. You could also try Pefect Magic (perfectmagic.com) in Montreal. They sell it as well for 12.50 US Perfect magic.com Good luck, John |

Another answer is to find a pic like the one at http://tinyurl.com/dm6ye and print a bunch of them on full sheet lables avalable from office supply stores.
Cut them out and stick'em on. Perhaps not as dramatically effective as a stamp, but would work... Lyndel |
