Hi. I was wondering while performing if anyone had costume changes. I take my hat off to a physics thing over my head. But that's all.

I don't yet, but I'm looking at the Quick Change Bowtie that Hocus-Pocus is selling. Since I already wear a bowtie it would fit in nicely.

Hey all,
I have been doing quick changes for many years now. And we currently manufacture changes for other magicians. If you're interested please don't hesitate to contact me. Magically yours, Matt Kielbiski Quick Change Artist |

Also check out Arturo Brachetti's website. I don't know if he has videos though but he's considered the world's greatest quick-change artist.

It is a lot easier to get older than it is to get wiser.

Hmmm...peculiar indeed. I personally love quick changes, so I'm happy to see this thread just the same. It was seeing Arturo on TV several years ago that made me want to do quick changes, initially. He's truly amazing.

Just seen the new DVD of Brachetti's latest show in France. It's a really excellent piece of work.
He should be touring parts of Europe later this year |

I would recommend the Quick Change Bowtie from Sven. It's really professionally well made.

I, too, love costume changes. I do a costume change in my act from pajamas to a baseball uniform and baseball cap. I had the costume custom made.

Im having trouble with speed on a costume change actually.
I am in a refridgerator box with a straight jacket on, chains, leg cuffs etc. and I am trying to get it down to a minute. Basically, the box is ripped off and I'm standing there in a Suit. Dress pants, blazer, tie, dress shirt etc. But I am having trouble changing really fast.

Quick changes take really much time to get the experience for beeing
fast enouph and stuff I do one change and it took me a lot of time to get into it it is not done as a single effekt or a kicker, it just happens by the way, along with the magic |
