This is a hard list to make, there are so many great performers but in my opinion there are the top ten as of right now. Please feel free to disagree with me. Honorable mention is Tony McClaren, amazing mentalist, blow you away if you see him perform. One of the most original minds in magic/mentalism.

Interesting to note that there are no females mentioned in anyone's list of present-day performers. I think a female mentalist of sufficient talent and charm would do extremely well in this day and age.

Hmmm... no one has mentioned "John Edward" yet.

Richard Busch has just won the 2005 PEA Art of Mentalism Award to go with the 2002 Creativity Award. Only five other people have ever received both.

Philemon Vanderbeck - good point, although of course he doesn't bill himself as a mentalist or entertainer of that sort, neither does Geller - the guy in most people's top 10's.

Are the likes of Banachek, Annemann and Corinda actually famous amongst lay people? I think not.
