WOW, David Roth just presented a fabulous lecture today at the Magic Castle. The lecture ran 3 hours before he was finally kicked off stage, he should have been able to continue. I know I would have stayed another two hours. He shared some fabulous coin techniques for a change. In depth work with the Edge Grip, Hanging coins, Curl palm, cgc, amazing stuff with his Okito box, and a fabulous three ball routine.

This was one great lecture, packed with amazing material! Those who went, are sure to say the same.

I bought his 3 ball routine strictly as an introduction or prelude to my cups and balls routine, it was the best I have ever seen.

Brava David, Bravo.

How was the crowd count? (Sorry I was away and couldn't attend-- but did go to his lecture last time he was in town). Great stuff.

Roth was just here in San Francisco too and it was an amazing lecture. He had something for everyone from the rank beginner to the seasoned pro, with lots of fun anecdotes sprinkled in between.

Yes!
The crowd was very nice, filling up the parlour. He did a lot of material, but he was going to go longer. It sucked, he had to stop at six because people we starting to come into the castle for the diner... I really wanted to see him go a little more in depth on his retension vanish, but still the edge work, coin box stuff, and ball stuff made it an awesome lecture. Well worth the $20.

As Jim pointed out, Roth had some great stories along the way, and a nice amount of history too.

Glad to hear that David rocked. Hey, you guys will get another chance to see him on July 16th, outside of Philadelphia. David will be one of the hosts at the New york Coin Seminar. Check out the thread elsewhere in this section. David will be showing a new deep back clip technique, as well as his usual fantastic material.
