Nick Zender, 47 years old, known on this board as Aperazor, unexpectedly went home to be with the LORD yesterday while attending his daughter's 8th birthday party.
It was determined that Nick suffere a massive heart attack. He went quickly and suffered little. He was active in IBM Ring 161 serving as Treasurer, and founder of the Akron Magic Meetup Workshops. He was kind and generous and always ready to help others, and his sense of humor kept a smile on everyone's face. He was secure in his faith in God, through his acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Pray for his two daughters. They are 8 and 15 years old. He is already greatly missed by all who knew him. BroDavid

I remember reading some of Nicks post and always felt he had so much to offer. This is sad news and I wanted to offer condolences to his family and friends.

A very moving Broken Wand ceremony was performed last night.
It was well attended by local magicians as well as family and friends. A midnight grave side service will take place at the end of July. Details will be posted on the AMAS website http://www.akronmagic.org |
