Hello, I recently attended one of Aldo Colombini's lectures, and somehow forgot to get a clearer(closeup) explanation of this move.
I know the basic idea, but there seems to be much too much motion in my hand and I believe I am gripping or twisting with wrong fingers or at wrong points. If anyone could PM me with help on this move regarding finger placement, ect, please PM me or reply here! |

The move is written up in Colombini's Knotty Knot routine. The hand is palm down, and the thumb does all the work.

I apologize for giving you such a dumb answer. I recently bought Knotty Knot and I now understand your question about the one handed slip knot, boy this one will take practice. Al Daegs The knot isn't that hard to do, if you follow the instructions, after four days of practice I can do it with either hand. Thank you Aldo Al

Stick with it! It is a great move that you can use to your advantage in many a rope routine. I am NOT great "dexterity" guy, but even I got it eventually. I agree with Al...you should learn it with both hands.
