I saw a video of a magician standing behind a girl on a chair. He raises a cloth, hands around the girl, and when it is lowered he is standing in front of her....Maybe visa versa...It looked very good and I have the gimmic, but I'd love to find the video that I've seen.
Thanks
Dave

It is called walking through... or something like that. It shows a small picture of a girl with a piece of sparckly(sp) material in front of her.

On that same website Magic Reza does a similar yet different effect with a different method. I believe it was called "Through Steel." Where is that method from? Or is it original? Does anybody know?

It does answer some questions... but unfortunately that post that I would have liked to have read was removed. Whose method does Reza use for "Through Steel?"

Thanks in advance,
Jared

Hi jbrandt,

The "walking through girl" illusion that you are looking for is at:
http://www.magicvideodepot.com/view.php?a=v&t=3034

I have no association with that illusion in anyway.

I do have some videos on MVD though...at:
http://www.magicvideodepot.com/view.php?......mp;m=859

As far as my "Passing Through Steel Illusion"... I can't discuss the methods, but I would be happy to tell you about the presentation.

Here is the general idea...
It is a 8 foot tall, 300lb. diamond plate steel wall that resembles the shape of a flame. The illusion begins with a girl freely selecting a playing card, and signing her name on it. After the steel wall is examined, the card is visibly penetrated thru the steel in flash of fire. Next I go behind the steel with her card, then I pass through the center of the steel, as it bursts into flames.

As far as I know, the methods are original for this application. Many people have walked through mirrors and brick walls, but not quite like this. (allowing the wall to be examined without a stooge, and being able to spin the wall around before and after the penetration)

Thank you for your interest...and I'd be happy to answer any other questions about the illusion.

Just wondering Slim King. Will you and your daughter be performing this? Mabey on "Beyond Copperfeild"?
