The principle could be used with many other types of products or with cereals from other countries with out any problem at all.

You can add your own "NO" gag to the mix also.
And do the gags about "ON" and "OZ"

I too saw Troy perform this at a lecture and it is a fun routine which everyone enjoyed. Laughs and a suprise ending.

Nick's version of Cereal Killer I had used about 12 outs at the end. Still not 100% without a variety of jokes or outs. Since the rest of the trick is a joke, I prefer an ending with a guaranteed success. Leave the error which proves the psychics humanity to more serious tricks. Just my humble opinion. I have not seen the plan to make the ending infallible. Keith

I cannot believe that someone might even think to try and sell this as a serious psychic effect. Keep it light

I love my Cereal killer. I love and use it so much, I've had to switch in a replacement envelope because the old one was getting bent and ripped. Soon here, I'll need new signs.
------------------------------------------------- Magicbyswh: Mine(old one) had 10 or 12 outs. Plenty to cover you for 99% of the time. If you do, for some reason miss, you can play off the inintial gag of card #3, and pretend that this was just an interlude between tricks. As card one and two are only gags, if card three was just a gag (losing the magic ending), the audience wouldn't know it missed anything. Can everything not be laminated to last a long time? Why is this a problem?

I've laminated the predictions and have even put the actual cover of cereal boxes on the back of the bar codes. That way when you turn the prediction around, they see the actual cereal box they chose, not just the name of it. It makes the envelope a bit "fuller" but I think it's worth it.

Anyone had any problems with spectators wanting to see an empty envelope?

By the time you turn the prediction around, the envelope is out of sight and your left with the prediction and a great reaction from the audience. It's a light piece of mentalism, with comedy, audience participation, and you don't have to parade anyone up on stage. It really works for me. Ken |

2014 and still using this effect. only real change I've made to it is that I have printed the box covers on so I can show the box instead of just the word. I've used this in well over 300 performances and it is still just a fun one to do even when it dosn't hit it gets a good laugh
