The skin is so obviously fake that it isn't worth doing the trick.

I thought that they did a great job with this. I bet the audience loved it.

The trick was very good. But not enough blood for a cut that deep. But hey....

We have enough trouble with kids cutting themselves as is.

I kind of like the idea of a Pauly Shore character with edge.

I'll bet the spectators don't ask to examine the coin.

You know that looked d*****d good to me. Very imaginative. Calexa is right though. Lack of blood gives the game away but I don't think people were thinking too clearly after the first slash judging from their reactions.
Not to break the mood here but I do wonder about audience reactions. I once had a spectator freak over Gypsy Thread of all things. It really assaulted her sense of reality. I had to reassure her that it was just a trick. Can't imagine how she'd react to that "impossible location" coin trick.

I don't think the spectators will know is the right coin or not.

"gimme that... takes coin, sucks off fake blood, spits it out, gives perormer a dirty look and say ... your blood tastes funny, and that's not my quarter. Takes out a scalpel and says.. open wide.

I been doing that trick for years! Only difference is that it takes me two days to get the coin back - oh... and it don't come out from my arm. Smile
