I was thinking of purchasing the self opening padlock for The Final manifestation, but I started to think.....hmmmm wouldn't this be too clean., too contrived ?

I started to think maybe just having the keys move slightly towards the lock might just be a better effect. Not completing the connection, with the spirit of Houdini sort of thing.

Any thoughts on this, or am I making too much of it.

Any other sugestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

E-Leoni.

Hi E-Leoni,
I have used an effect of Chuck Leech for a Houdini manifestation. It was called "The Spirit Box". In short.. an index card that is shown blank on both sides is placed under a cardboard box (size of a shoe box) which has a hole in the top. The medium pics up a pencil that has a string tied to the end of it (near the eraser). Now get this! A sectator holds the string as you lower the pencil into the box, They feel a tug on the string as others see it move! Tell the spectator to let go of the string and all watch as it creeps into the box. Then as suddenly as it starts, it stops. The box is picked up and there written on the card is a message! (I used "Thank you for a wonderful evening ERIC WEISS")
This is a VERY strong routine!
Hope this Helps!

I have used Dean Dill's Box as a spirit cabinet for Houdini.
