Hi everyone. I've been googling for this item but to no avail. Jay uses this black coin pouch in his Greatest Hits dvd. You can open this pouch with just a squence on the mouth and dump out the content inside the pouch with great ease. All and all a one hand operation. If you know what I'm talking about, please post the name of this particular coin pouch and where to get it. Your help is much appreciated.

Evolve is this what you are looking for? If so, PM Starsini (Frank) he may have them as dice pouches.

Hi Euangelion, thanks. But the pouch is not the same. The one Jay uses does not have any flap or button on it. It's a simply leather pouch, a little bigger than the Goshman's, but no frame either. The mouth is flat (probably with some metal surrounding the openning of the mouth), and to open the pouch you simply squeece the mouth end to end to open it. I hope this helps to give you guys/gals some ideas what I'm talking about. But if you have Jay Sankey's Greatest Hits dvd, you'll know what I'm referring to. Thanks again.

NOt sure what to call it either, but if you can find one of those Outlet Malls in your area, they often will have a leather goods store. If you just take a look there I am sure you will find what you need.

I have seen the pouches that you are talking about. They have a spring steel at the mouth and all you have to do is squeeze and they open. Not sure where to get em, but I am sure that they are not uncommon. You will find what you are looking for!

Thanks to W.F. Lewis, Spydur and Euangelion. Ok, I've found it It's called Squeeze Coin Pouch and you can see it by clicking here. I think this little pouch has great potential for coin workers. Maybe it's not new to most of you, but I'm kinda new to this.

Speaking of Sankey and pouches, would anyone want to buy one.
I bought one on the last Sankey lecture tour and just realized yesterday that I had never used it. Lemme know if you want it. I will be placing a lot more items including lots of DVDs and Video tapes for sale in the Dealing section, but since the subject is mentioned I will just sell it now if anyone wants. Josh |

Hi Josh, are you referring to Sankey's Gemini Pouch?? If you look at the Squeeze pouch link above, you'll know it's different. I have Gemini Pouch and it never sees a day of sunlight since it arrived.

Evo0lve, you didn't look a the right picture on Frank's site. He has both types. The one I was speaking of has spring steel at the top and is opened with one hand by squeezing the ends. Look at the photo with the Dice cup, dice and the pouch/purse.

The coin purse you're looking for can be slightly modified to become a jumbo coin or final load hold out.......in case you didn't already know

Carol Wright Gifts(402-464-6116) sells this style coin pouches(3x3" outside, yet my jumbo 3" coin won't fit thru the opening) for $3, (but plus expensive s/h).
It is opened by squeezing the top edge(some type of "spring metal"). There is also an thin oustide pocket to stuff thin objects in. The body of the coin pouch is said to be leather, but lined w/a more durable ~vinyl. Thus, the material looks to be less flexible than that of http://www.beltoutlet.com/squeezcoinpo.html not sure if that is good or bad. and you can get any color you want, as long as it's black. I bought three of them, they are very handy for carrying some practice coins. Another bag I like for carrying stuff for an "impromptu" show, I got from Starcrest of California((909)657-2793), for $4 (free shipping) a nice supple "Little Leather Bag" (Stock # 10-82503-2), 3"w x 4"h x 3/4"d. The zippered main section is just bigger than a deck of cards, and there is an outside snapped section. It also has belt loop for carrying(convenient, but a bit nerdy). I use the outer pouch to hold several coins, a flat ring, and some rubber bands. The inside, I stuff a few cards(for coin matrix), 4 differnt colored mini felt-tip markers(from CVS, for a cut/restored string), 2 mini straws(from my cranberry juice), a mini (moustache) scissors, 4' of 3.2mm nylon rope(Walmart), and some gimicked string(for cut/restore string) in a small zip-loc baggie(walmart), and a miniature brass wand I made from a Palm pilot stylus. To keep my magnetic copper & silver set primed for a scotch & soda effect, I lay it on a magnetic half dollar - it keeps it all together, yet separate from the ungaffed coins. As long as I'm going on this, Target sells a Case Logic zippered pouch for flash memory that has 6 insdie flaps that will hold the rest of your gaffed coins. Dan Watkins, of the Café, posted previously about this. Then, don't forget to the Howdydidits(sp), for many other suggestions, and to support Slim. enjoy, John
