I like the idea of a paper bag... that would FIT what kind of routine I would use it in. I've also played around with a near-clear looking plastic bag from a market.

Pete,
You reminded me of my years at the University of Arkansas when several of the coaching staff were also magicians. A particular swim coach used the clear change bag regularly to allow a student to pick the physically demanding activities for the day. (Of course it was always just as planned, last year!) I personally love the double change bag with the zipper. So many things can be done with just that bag.
There are some variety of change bagss, each look good. One looks like a purse, so it doesn't look magical or gimmicked. A good choice if you want to take the "heat" away from the bag. I have a home made tear apart change bag made from cloth that has computers printed on it. It too, looks different thean the normal change bag. As mentioned above a double walled Paper bag make a very convincing change bag. The concept is to vanish and produce all in one hand held "container", put on your thinking cap and come up with one. I also use a double sewed straw place mat. Just about any flat cloth object can be made into a change bag, just like Laflin's clear bag.

Check out the new Change Cap by Creative Magic! These guys are awesome. It's a baseball cap with a built in change mechanism! Depending on the age of your audience and style of your show, this may the most simple, innocent, convincing change cap ever!

Thank you Krishdimond for that link allthough I checked it out and their website doesn't strike me as one of great quality.
I cant stand having to click 'next' each time I want to see 5 items. maybe I am wrong? but I only noticed one regular change bag. has any one dealt with this company before? can you give a review? does any one know of any other place where I can find a decent double change bag? thanks, Dani |

I have two large red satin, and brass change bags, with gold trim, one with a zipper, and one without that I use all the time. What I'm looking for is a smaller red satin, and brass change bag to match the two I'm already using, and I'm not having any success. I find that the smaller ones are cheap, and wooden.
