Mine is the Raccoon, too bad I can't afford it yet.

What's yours?

Gideon

P.S. If you don't have one, just name the one you want most.

I have the rabbit...and I love it! But I would really like to own the Neurotic Rat. I know that I could do SO much funny stuff with him...The puppet itself just seems like a part of my personality by the looks of it. I also like the opposum...

Haha, I wonder how many will say Vern. I showed Axtell`s website to my step mom, guess which one was her favorite... Vern.

I absolutely love my penguin "Frostbite". I know it's been said here before, but pictures do not do these puppets justice. The looks on the kids faces when he appears is priceless. Best investment of the year...

I believe the next one I get will be the penguin although I want the old story teller and laughing louie and ..... and .... and .....
So many to chose from and so little time (and money)

You know what is my favorite! Because the real Orangutan is an endanger species and their origin habitat are in our country, Indonesia.

Beside that, I have a Dodo bird, Bullfrog, Chimp and Magic Drawing Board. The audience love all of them.

I have The Old Story Teller, The Elephant and The Turtle. I love them all. Right now, my favorite would have to be the turtle.

Slydini,

What's the interior capacity of the turtle's shell. On Steve's site, it says you can put a few small props inside. I'd love to know what would fit. He's on my wish list and I'm coming up with ideas for routines with him.

Thanks

I've always wanted the rabbit. It looks so cool! The only Axtell puppet I have is Vern, and he's great even though I don't use him much.

My new favorite puppet is a mouse puppet I bought from Duane Laflin at last year's SAM convention. I used him to tell the Vacation Bible School story today, and the kids were just in love with the character. They listened to the mouse better than they listened to me!

Does anyone have Benny? I think he is sooooo cute, plus he reminds me a lot of the Sesame Street characters that I think the kids will really identify with him.

I know its geared more towards kids, but at a whopping 5' 2", most kids are taller than me anyways! Smile So, I don't think it will be out of proportion for me.

Any thoughts or comments?

Also, does anyone know if Axtell gives a discount for SAM or IBM members. Fine if they don't, that isn't going to stop me from purchasing. But, we have found most people will give you a discount if you belong to one of these Associations.

Thanks!

Haha, got a hard time deciding to order the puppet.. so in the end I just place an order for turtle, rabbit and possum... I have their skunk, possum (mouth teared so get another one), wildthing and orangutan... the next order will be rat, man eating plant and cat... (have already plan routine for these three.. man-eating plant will be a side kick for my magic show, do it like blooming flower but have a shocking ending... cat will name it as copy - copy cat... hehe

Well, Vern has to be my favorite. Of course, he is the only Axtell puppet I currently own. The reason I choose to buy him in the first place was because I liked him best. There are many others that I like also, and hope to own some of them someday.

Laughing Louie is pretty hard to beat in my opinion...

Story teller and neurotic cat would be my runner ups..

I've had:

The Polar Bear, Possum, and Dodo

I currently have the small Wild Thing.

I love them ALL!

Steve is an awesome individual and an amazing artist, his imagination is Incredible.

When I can once again add a new figure to the cast it will probably be the "Neurotic Rat"...He's just flat-out crazy...

Like me!

I just bought Vern. I bought him because he's mentioned in so many threads and always seems to get great reviews. But personally, I'd like to get the big ostrich. I'm 6'5" and I think it would be fun to have a puppet that matched my height. Do you think he'd be scary to children? I'd always make sure he behaved around little kids and never snapped at them. If I could afford him, that's the one I'd get for sure.
