Hey all,
I'm really interested in getting into performing effects with Flash Paper. I know what effects are possible, however I've never been near any type of flash paper, never mind, know what to do with it.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any ways of how to get into it.... eg. any books/videos?

Any help appreciated,

I'd say, just get some Flash Paper and play with it. If you want a good card trick that uses flash paper, get "In a Flash" by Jay Sankey. It's wicked Smile

Flash paper has a lot of good uses but I'd refrain from getting some and playing with it. You're dealing with fire and extreme heat and unless you know what you're doing, it can be dangerous. I'd think about what I wanted to do with it first. Do you need misdirection or just looking for a shock factor? Do you want flash paper, string, h cord, or flash bills? They all have their place but you need to be careful.

Michael P. Lair has some great FP work outlined in his video, Candles! I have used a lot of his ideas with great success.
A direct from text adaptation : The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde Starring Mickey Rooney in his final role.
