A friend of mine does the finger through the bottom of the Wendy's Chili Cup and it looks real for a few moments. Very funny unless you are an employee.

I have creature, but find it's use to be extremely limited for me. I have brought it out on occasion for kids and a few adults, but I find that there are better alternatives for this effect, such as a small mouse or even a baby doll hand is good with the right routine. It just stays in my closeup case and never comes out. Just sits there looking creepy next to my flipper half.

I've had the Creature for some time, and alough not a true magical effect, you can spook your audience with it. If you do have the effect, one way to enhance the build up to the climax is by telling a morbid story about the Monster in the cave(Your hand). And the only way it comes out is if you start a fire in the cave. Heres where I get the spectator to light some flash paper in the cup of my hand. At this point, they're expecting the Monster to come out. (Nothing comes out yet) I show the hands empty again, and get them to stuff another small piece of flash paper in the cave. Only this time as they approach my hands to light the flash paper, the creature emerges, knocking the flash paper out of my hands. Heres where they wet their pants, you show your hands empty and take a bow. Hope the presentation helps.

U use it all the time. But its hit or miss on this if you order it you might not get one that matches you mine is perfect and works great at smoky clubs and bars and not to mention Halloween. But its a quicky not for a whole routine or anything like that . I use mine as my creature that allows me and helps me create all the other magical effect that I do.

I was stupid enough to purchase this waste of money. I am small. I have small hands. This thing is so poorly manufactured that if it fits the hands of a 7 year old it would be an accomplishment. I wrote to Arlen Studios to ask if anything could be done to widen the fit, but there was no response. I certainly will not be quick to purchase anything that this company does in the future. What a ripoff!!! Stay away from this unless you have hands the size of Barbie!!!

I bought 2 items from Keith and both were a waste of money. The eye and key melt. I sent my gimmicked key back to Keith because it was so poorly made. I have never heard back from him. I have emailed him about 5 times with no response. I will never purchased anything made by him again. I would at least think he would respond back when I emailed him. Terrible products and terrible customer service.
Due to the last of quality and customer service he may be out of business. Anyone know if this is the case? It would not surprise me. Steve

Yes I bet he is out of service because his website is not up anymore.
I have bought POP EYE and silver shifter and both were of bad quality. I was looking into buying creature since it recieved some good reviews. |

In my opinion Creature is the best of Keith's effects, this doesn't mean I think it is good, I actually thought the craftsmanship was very poor and the description misleading. This has stayed on my shelf for a good couple of years now and I doubt I will move it again.
Now I'm working in a magic shop I have had the chance to check out Silver Shifter and Key Melt and I was instantly relieved that I hadn't spent my money on them, they look really fake and again the descriptions were misleading and I cannot see anyone actually falling for it, maybe they do, I personally wouldn't have the confidence to do such a serious type of effect with a prop like these. In my opinion with the right handling creature can be fun but expect to get that fun from a strong performance and a bit of sleight of hand, if you don't 'perform' it in an engaging entertaining way then don't expect any fun to come of it, the gimmick alone certainly won't bring that to you. I'm guessing that creature operates on the same principle as Tom Burgoon's Snake Eyes which I'm enjoying wonderful success with! A small furry mouse; however, does sound more intriguing!!! Where can I purchase one!? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

He is very cute but appears far too large for this type of effect!
