I use VistaPrint exclusively for my business cards and postcards. I design using PhotoShop, upload online, and my order almost always arrives before the projected delivery date. Please note that I don't have a graphic artist's background or eye -- the comments of more discerning Magi are well noted.

JesterMan: Thanks so much for the kind words regarding my work and logo and business card design. I am so glad and happy that your new identity design is working out well for you and really establishing you and branding you in your new market. The logo was designed exsclusively for you to really show the target market exactly what you are and what you do in a well designed logo that brands you in seconds from the look and feel.
As with VistaPrint or any online printer, I mentioned to JesterMan and others, to always always look and get and obtain printed samples from your printers before ever getting cards run off. Every online printer is NOT the same in the quality. The reason for this is the fact that every online printer uses various methods for producing the cards while keeping costs down. Many use a digital format printing which is fine, but cn give you vastly different qualities and can shift your color on you if you are using colors like yellow or lighter colors where a faint shift can really change the hue. I always ask for proofs to be given to me. This means I pay a bit more, but it is worth it. They then print out the card via their process and send it to me for my approval. This way I can catch any color mistakes long before I have to pay for a run of cards that are NOT what I wanted or designed for a client of mine. If anyone has any particular questions about online printing or VistaPrint or ways in which to go about getting your cards printed correctly, please let me know by posting here or sending me an IM. I would be more then happy to go over ideas with you and help you to get what you are looking for in your card design and make sure that the prtinters deliver on what you want. Just let me know how I may be of help. Kyle

My business cards was made from a pro agency in Miami and they are really good looking, professionals and people likes them a lot: Cute 5 color logo, gloss paper, perfect size, $ 120 for # 1.000; I give one to any person I perform for, children included (sometimes people throw it away but a child keep it forever), so I've spent a lots of money in the last few years, but now I've found a company in NY, that make my same business cards for $ 125 a 5.000 of them! I don't know how they do it...
