I am working on a Cups and Balls routine that involves loading a hard object (walnut)into the cup, which inevitably makes a sound. This is certainly not helpful. Any suggestions or sources?
Thanks-- Flimnar

Review Paul Gertner's routine and try masking one sound with another. It should cover your actions and just might add a new factor to your routine.
Either that or your could do a number of other things like coating the interior of your cup, or creating a portable buffer with a sponge to cushion your load when it enters the cup. MM

I have a solution, but I won't post it in an open forum. I'll PM it to you.

Bill - I've looked at C&B routines and C&B magicians a-plenty, and I feel that you are "the mind" on all things C&B.
So I have to ask. When will you publish a work that contians all the "little bits of work" you've come across AND all the ways you know of to load a cup ? I for one would pay a high price for that, whatever my current budget! |

Bill, I second Pro-Digitous proposal! Isn't it great how free we are with your time and effort? Thanks for your help--your PM did the trick.

You guys give me too much credit. I'm just a guy who collects cups and balls, and information about them. I'm always glad to help serious students of the routine, though.
Watch for an important announcement about my e-book very soon. Like in a couple of hours.

I'd say, that most real world performing conditions allow you to load just about anything without being heard.

I don't remember who it was that was looking for a specific final load. I found the one we discussed. PM me off list with a description of that nutty final load idea and I'll tell you where to get it.
