The Christ Countdown.
The spectator follows a fairly simple but random-seeming procedure to arrive at a card in a shuffled deck. The card matches the performer's prediction.

In the hypothesis, albeit rare, that in the final phase all four piles end with the last card face down, which out do you perform?

I thought about the magician's forcing or the PATEO.

Thanks!

I like One For the Money by Bill Goldman. When the second person comes in and names the number to deal down to.. and the card is there, I have found that the audience is truly stunned. It is a possible impossibility.

I agree Jenny that this is an excellent routine on an easy ACAAN trick. This is sometimes my card closer but as of late, I really love doing "Up The Ante",a Gibreath principal all where the deck is not touched by myself and done in the hands of the spectator. I do a take on getting fooled by a famous magician/gambler at a Vegas Café instead of the full on gambling theme. It kills!

I am surprised that Henry Sugar has not been mentioned in this thread. If you are not sure what it is, you can see a performance of it on lybrary.com
