All I will say is that it's P*****c, and I saw yellow without getting into the secret. I was like My Gosh you can *** right ***** ****. That's the wallet (I didn't know it's name then) I said I saw demoed and didn't like in a previous post in this. The Mind Controller looked good demoed. I like Thought Transmitter too, but I work on the streets at night. I made my own peek "Deck", that uses the wi**** principle, WITH THE BOX TOO. It gets em' everytime. It wasn't the Performer's fault, he was flawless, I didn't "see anything" it was just obvious too me. So how is the Caper Case? Thanks, Ed, (Eddini).
P.S. Thanks for responding I see what you're saying though, Ed. Quote: On 2005-08-19 14:00, Dr. Zordas wrote:

I would have to vote for The Stealth, I think the others certainly have a time and a place.
The Stealth looks like a small mans wallet it enables a good clear peek of a business card which is far better than someone writting in a plastic wallet that has some mini post it notes stuck in it, the thought transmitter just doesn't look like anything you could actually buy.. Insight is nice however I don't think it has any benefit over the Stealth and doesn't look like a regular mans wallet in my opinion.. However we all like different things.. Jon |

Does anyone use different wallets for different venues? I had good success using the Stealth wallet.

I have used the Thought transmitter and the insight wallet, the insight looks like something you might carry with you the other does not, I have demoed both at the shop and the insight is a better seller.

I've tried half a dozen wallets and now use both the SUC and the Insight. The SUC gives a good peek with practice. With the card in place, attempt to put the wallet into your shirt pocket without looking at it and "miss" the pocket. Then look dow, open the pocket wider and get your peek as you succeed in getting it in this time. The Insight gives the best peek though and is very well made. You can really take your time with it and get a good look at the word even when it has been written in poor handwriting. The SUC is too useful not to have one as well. Besides a good peek, it’s major advantage is that it can be used to pocket write and double write with. These are very powerful techniques. I often have the SUC set up in my pocket with a business card along with a pencil stub. After mentioning what I do, I am often asked for an example. The SUC is brought out of my pocket, a business card is removed and their name or favorite number is on the back. Knocks people out.

Insight is a great wallet and I believe the products that Becker and Earle are bringing out are excellent quality props and often have multiple uses. The one weakness with any of these wallets is having to re-open the wallet at a point in the routine when this seems unnatural or slightly suspicious. I have some subtleties that really make the routine just so *** impossible to explain, it appears that I never get the chance to peek as I let the participant handle the wallet all the way through (it appears) and genuinely NEVER RE-OPEN it after they have closed it -here are my tips for those who have one...
Firstly, putting a rubber band around the center of the wallet lengthwise while it is open allows you to hand it to the participant without fear (not that you want to have it 'examined' as this carries a suggestion of 'fakery'). Try it and you will see what I mean. Just make sure the band is fairly loose so it doesn't leave a groove in the leather. It is a very subtle touch and completely protects the 'work' in the wallet. I use insight for a name reading and hand the wallet to a lady who handles everything. I have blank cards tucked in to the half pocket side, this forces the name to be written across the top half of the card. After she has written the name, I then ask her to remove this card and turn it over. Because of the orientation they will always turn it end for end which is how I need it to be for the peek coming up. I then ask them to tuck the card into the necessary pocket (I don't have a credit card in the wallet also as it does not make sense to me to keep a credit card in a wallet I obviously don't use everyday. I have made mine look like my business card wallet and use it in this context). I ask her if the card is completely out of view and turn around. Next, I ask her to remove the rubber band and hand it to me then close the wallet. I watch as she closes the wallet making sure the orientation is right for the peek I am about to use (I am not going to expose how it works but those of you who have this and try the sequence with it in hand will understand). I then put out my hand gesturing for her to hand me the wallet (my motivation is that she has just handed me the rubber band and I am going to put the band around the wallet. I hold the wallet in left hand mechanics grip like a deck of cards. Now for those of you who have Steve (Banacek) Shaw's Psi series, the peek I use is exactly the same one he uses to do the number reading with a stack of business cards (Steve uses a presentation where he stares at the person's palm and intuits the number they are thinking of through the shapes of the lines on their palm). There is no real difference in the mechanics of the peek itself, you are simply applying it to the wallet. Hold the wallet in mechanics grip like a stack of cards, try it and you will soon see it fits perfectly in this context and appears that you never opened the wallet!! Let me assure you this is an absolutely convincing sequence and in their minds there is NO WAY you could have accessed the information. One thing you have to make sure of is the orientation of the wallet as you do the peek, a little experimenting will quickly show the way to manage this. As I am executing Steve's brilliant peek, my hand holding the wallet is pointing to my other empty hand (look up the number effect from psi series) saying please hold out either hand palm up. I then place the rubber band around the wallet, place it on her hand and ask her to place the other hand on top. The work is over and I can focus on delivering a meaningful cold reading for her, culminating in the name revelation. I have fooled many an insight wallet owner with this little gem, have fun!! People will swear you never handled the wallet or opened it. By the way Steve's Psi series is one of the best investments you will ever make if you are serious about doing 'mind' related material.

Hi AJ, Cheers man yeh the sequence is one of the most powerfully convincing 'mind' bits I have come up with, thanks for taking the time to read and understand it. Sorry the description is a bit vague but I didn't want to border on saying too much. I am hoping to run into Larry or Lee at a convention somewhere and fool them with their own wallet! Everyone who owns insight and has seen me use this bit thinks I am using some other method as they never cotton on to the peek as it is so natural and deceptive. Also they are all conditioned to watching for when you re-open the wallet and this doesn't happen. Hope you enjoy using this man and seriously freak some folks out!
Cheers, AL

Al...thanks. I think Larry and Lee will smile a big smile when they see your handling.
Best to you, A.J. |
