This is more just a curiousity question....
How many people use a ficticious business name compared to using their own name when applying for a business license? |

I do. Captain Jack Bartholemew is not my real name. It is the name of my character and the same goes for my wife. Her name isn't Nyre. But our business name is Captain Jack & Nyre.

Our business name is Scho-Lan Entertainment. Makes us look like we have a much larger staff than just my wife and I. A lot of the calls ask "do you have a magician available..." rather vthan "are you available."
