I'm looking to branch in to Mentalism and was wondering what are the best books to begin with.

Practical Mental Effect by Annemann. That is what I started on. It has some really good stuff in it.

Everyone suggests Corinda's "13 steps to Mentalism". It is a fairly easy step into Mental Magic, very difficult acting step to believable Mentalism. Really require a mentor, acting training and lots of time. Keith

Karl Fulves' "Self Working Mental Magic" is a great introduction too.

Add to the above:
Richard Osterlind (he has some terrific stuff as downloads that will help with performance) Bob Cassidy's books Banachek
You have to give it away to keep it.

I can also recommend Corindas, 13 steps to mentalism.
It's pretty much covers all the basics and more. Dave |

You wanna get it right? and have the most comprehensive book that takes you by the hand and guide you through PERFECTLY? Corinda's "13 steps to Mentalism". this sounds like a cheesy 80s ad!
that's where EVERY aspiring mentalist should start! just my 2 cents!
Double posters should be shot!
