What do you people think about starting with a missmade bill effect and pulling out a TT streamer as the secerity strip and going on with missmade then stating that my favorite way to mark/control cards is by using a silk streamer. then pulling out a deck of cards having a spectater select a card taking the silk wraping it around the card and cuting the card in to the deck. no no no this is to obvies pull out the card take the silk off and placing the card back on top of the deck. then vanish the silk "push" it in to the top card and "losing the card in the deck" then pulling the silk right out of the back ot the top card and reviling it to be there card.

I think it would be a nice transition from a opening effect to cards

Taylor,
I can appreciate your thinking here but the question that keeps coming into my mind is where is the pause to let the audience know that you have moved from one effect to another. The other thing that I keep asking myself is why; why now that you have shown the streamer as the security strip out of a dollar bill would it make sense to then use the same streamer in a card trick. I like the basic idea of finishing the miss made bill with the streamer and I really think that it is a neat idea but I just don’t see why it would then play well within the card effect, I guess I just do not see the logic in it. As far as transitions go I can understand you wants to have a certain flow but I would suggest placing a pause in between the effects to again allow the audience know that the first effect is over and that you are now moving on.

I just like my magic to flow
I'd time between tricks the joke about just raping the card in the silk acts as another form of a pause, so I feel it is easyer for the speacter to follow because the most I here about is why from this to that money to cards its like a trap into a card trick with the silk from card its almost like giding them in it lets there brain go from A to B to C not A to C to E I don't know how well I explained my logic but I hope you get the of it |
